It’s been a crazy and exciting journey since main net launch last year. But with the new year comes new beginnings.
Nathan Rempel, one of the founding members of GenerEOS, and one of our significant contributors, has decided to take a step back from working on block production to pursue his passion for smart contract development. Read Nathan’s backstory
Nathan will remain a stakeholder of GenerEOS and move from operations to an advisory role. This change has necessitated a restructure with Ralf Weinand taking on the role of CTO.
Our immediate focus is on recruiting new development talent for GenerEOS to help further enhance EOStoolkit.io as well as help develop our many other community initiatives — some of which will be announced in the coming weeks. Of course we will continue to maintain and keep enhancing reliable block production infrastructure as well as continuing our charitable endeavours.
We are also expanding our operations into the blockchain education space with Ralf starting a workshop series for EOSIO Smart Contract development at a prominent Australian University this week (more info to come). We are hoping to grow this area further and help educate future Blockchain professionals nationally and around the globe.
We wish Nathan all the best and thank him wholeheartedly for helping us get to where we are today. We also congratulate EOS Nation on this partnership with Nathan and we are looking forward to working on common projects to further enhance and grow the EOS ecosystem.
